We were coming out of my reception at the Signals Mess when we encountered a huge traffic block because of this fire. The description from Geo TV News: "According to the hotel administration, a spirit bottle put there for usage in construction work caught fire when a labourer left a lit cigeratte on fourth floor. The fire was extinguished within half an hour. People were struck in the hotel whereas some have saved their lives by climbing from hotel windows."
